Ken's Wine Guide Rates Benovia's "Food Friendly" Pinot
89-90 Points | Benovia 2008 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
"This slightly opaque ruby colored Pinot opens with a cranberry
and red raspberry bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the
palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, smooth, and
savory. The flavor profile is a tasty red raspberry with notes of
mild oak and dried cranberry. The finish is dry, gentle, and
pleasant. This Pinot is very food friendly and would pair well with
pork tenderloin with a peach or apricot demiglace or Thanksgiving
turkey. Enjoy."
