Benovia Pinot Noir Truffles Recipe
Ingredients
8oz Bittersweet Chocolate
8oz Semisweet Chocolate
1/2c Heavy Cream
1/2c Benovia Pinot Noir
1tsp Vanilla
Cocoa Powder & Powdered Sugar for coating
Instructions
These chocolate and wine truffles are irresistable little
confections, and they're easy to make! The hand-molded shape and
powdery coating resemble the famous culinary fungi...only these are
infused with Benovia Pinot Noir. Perfect for holiday parties...or
anytime. Enjoy!
Chop chocolates into small pieces and place in heat proof bowl.
Microwave on High for 60 seconds. Stir and microwave for 30 more
seconds. (Be careful, the bowl can get hot!)
Gently heat the cream on the stove top until just bubbly. Pour
into the chocolate mixture and whisk together. Add the wine &
vanilla and whisk until smooth.
Pour into 9"x9" square pan, cover, and refrigerate for 30
minutes. Using two spoons or a 1" cookie scoop, drop balls of
chocolate onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 10
more minutes. Roll each ball of chocolate in your hands to roughly
make it round. Roll in confectioners' sugar, cocoa powder, or
both.
Truffles will keep refrigerated for weeks. Bring to room
temperature before serving.
