Vibrant on the nose and expertly put together, this is a well-made appellation wine, expansive in dark cherry, pomegranate and plum. Generous in oak and tannin in its youth, it shows a full-bodied finish that settles smoothly into velvety waves of cardamom and rose. –Virginie Boone
